Your company’s image is more important than virtually any other factor in creating a first impression for prospective clients. A bad image can literally kill a business by repelling would-be clients who see your brand as out-dated or ugly.
An unappealing brand communicates carelessness, antiquated sensibilities, disconnectedness, and cheapness to a client. Clients see poor quality brands reflecting poor quality services or products, and have been conditioned to do so by our consumer culture.
The knock-off brands are always distinguished by low-quality packaging, this means that poor design choices will communicate poor quality to the majority of consumers. Sometimes it is hard to know whether your brand has become out-dated though. Design standards are a moving target, liable to change at a moments notice and shun older practices once held dear.
Cassis is uniquely suited to help you consider whether or not it’s time to retire that old logo, and re-brand for a new identity.

If your website doesn’t function on mobile devices, then you are woefully behind the times. According to some statistics, the global proportion of hits to web sites from mobile users was as high as 10.1% and growing. Consumers are drawn to smart phones by cheaper data plans and more enticing devices – and this inevitably means more mobile internet users. And of course, the increase in mobile web users means the expansion of standards of web design for mobile web sites. (more…)

The short answer is… yes. Social media drastically impacts ratings on all modern search engines, and often social media forums are used as search engines themselves. With more and more businesses jumping on the social media band-wagon, reviews, likes, dislikes, tweets, and posts are so ubiquitous that search engines have to take them into account in order to produce quality results. Most of our clients don’t compete on pricing. For example, it would be unusual to see an ad for 20% off an Aneurysm procedure at Northside Neurosurgeons, or for one of our accounting firms to offer a $500 coupon off 2010 corporate tax returns. Not only is it exceedingly rare to see discounts on services such as these, but offering a discount on a professional service will diminish the professionalism of the practice. (more…)

While it is beneficial to look internally to see how your brand is evolving, it is just as important to analyze how your brand is promoted. Often times when we begin working with a new client we see multiple vendors involved in the marketing component of a business. (more…)
